Point your phone's back camera at anything and see it the way keratoconus can distort vision, live, on screen. Snap a photo or record a short video to save or share.
Getting started
Open the Camera page and allow camera access when your browser asks. The live preview appears in the black frame at the top of the screen.
KC Severity slider
Drag the slider to control how strong the effect is:
- Low values → a subtle blur.
- Higher values → stronger blur, ghosting, and glare, layered on top of each other.
It updates instantly on the live preview, and whatever level it's set to is baked into any photo or video you capture.
The buttons

| Share Photo | Captures the current frame and opens your device's share menu, so you can send it straight to Instagram, Messages, etc. |
| Record / Stop | Tap once to start recording — the button pulses red while it's recording. Tap again to stop. |
Saving & sharing
Save Photo always downloads directly to your device.
Share Photo and Record try to open your device's native share sheet first (which usually includes a "Save to Photos/Files" option). If your browser doesn't support sharing, they download straight to your device instead — no extra steps needed either way.
Videos are automatically saved or shared the moment you stop recording — you'll see "Processing…" briefly, then "Shared!" or "Saved to Device!"
Do you need to refresh the page?
Yes. Refresh the page before capturing another photo or video — the app currently expects a fresh page load for each new save.
Orientation
Photos and videos are always saved vertically (portrait), no matter how you're holding your phone or which way it's rotated.
Worth knowing
- The camera uses your device's rear (back-facing) camera.
- Every capture includes a small "Camera App by @Keratomania" watermark.
- Nothing is uploaded anywhere — everything happens and stays on your device unless you choose to share it yourself.
